Message from the President
I started HKS on 01/01/2000 primarily because I saw a need for a development company that could take the rigor and quality of the large players and replicate it for the small to medium enterprise at a reasonable cost. It was also a numerically interesting time to start a company, like when the car odometer rolls over 200,000 km.
My goals for the company are:
- Provide top value for our clients
- Be the provider of choice for those who use our services
- Attract and retain the brightest, most enthusiastic employees
- Provide a good living wage for our employees
- Treat our suppliers with (nearly) as much respect as our clients
- Handle disputes professionally, morally, and ethically
- Compete aggressively in the markets we choose
- Provide Enterprise-class services for small and medium sized businesses
In short, I see HKS as a small, value-minded, and ethically strong company serving the Canadian market for web consulting, services, and hosting.
