The Colt Engineering home page has low information turnover so it uses a single dynamic news item. The site uses HTML fonts and CSS everywhere so maintenance is reduced. Colt employees can change every part of the site through the admin site.
Interior Page
Videos are sprinkled through the site and controlled by the video manager. High quality site photos are used on every page and they give a visual overview of the breadth of Colt's projects.
The videos come to the front even if the pop-up window is hidden by the main window. Just another example of the quality details that HKS puts into every project.
Edit Page
Again, the WebContent administration side gives a WYSIWYG view of the web page content, strictly controlled by CSS. News items are controlled the same way.
Video clips are uploaded and grouped using the video manager.
As an aside, the header was changed after launch to flip the search box and main logo. This change took 2.5 hours of effort and resulted in the entire site being updated at once.
